On January 30, 2010 the Albanian Wrestling Federation held its Elective General Assembly in Durrës (ALB) with the supervision of a representative of the National Olympic Committee of Albania and the FILA. At the end of the Assembly Mr Viron Bezhani has been elected President of the Albanian Wrestling Federation. The FILA wishes to congratulate Mr Bezhani as well as all the elected members of the new Executive Committee.

As a consequence the suspension against the Federation is lifted and all the member athletes of the Albanian Federation may take part to all wrestling competitions in the official calendar.
